Young Farmers & Ranchers (YF&R) is an organization of young professionals in agriculture and related fields, committed to professional development, networking and social opportunities. YF&R is a sub-committee organized under the Monterey County Farm Bureau and San Benito County Farm Bureau of California.

Organizational finances are handled through Monterey County Farm Bureau, with income for programming and events from both the Farm Bureau and YF&R activities.

Our Mission

YF&R promotes leadership, education, opportunity and advancement in the field of agriculture.

Advances the professional field of agriculture via ongoing professional and personal development.

Provides a forum for networking, recognition and volunteer opportunities within the Farm Bureau and the agricultural community.

Works with the Monterey and San Benito Farm Bureaus to foster and strengthen communication surrounding local, regional and statewide issues facing agriculture.
